After 6+ years as a loyal customer, I was APPAULED by the way I was treated by customer service. I was told they would not even be willing to research an ERROR THEY MADE to my account because it was older than 90 days. I was then told if I wanted them to look into it further, I would incur a RESEARCH FEE. This bank is a joke. They lured me into this checking account with an interest rate that has steadily dropped over the past few years. Connexus doesn’t seem to have a clue as n customer service. I got a credit card with them in August and have had issues since day one. They can’t get their auto pay to work properly, can’t assist with issues when I call to ask for help and when things go wrong all they say is sorry and pass the blame. I was told to manually make a payment for December because they still couldn’t get auto pay to work in November, 3 months after setting it up. Even though Connexus does not service the Elan Credit Card our members may have, we can and do intercede on our members behalf to assist in any way we can to bring about a resolution. I contacted Elan today on Taylor's behalf and per the representative I spoke with, there are notes on Taylor's account of her call and request to have the 2nd payment placed back into her account. I am having the same issue with this company sending me a letter that they opened and account in my mane without my consent. At no point in time have I received anything from anyone stating they sold my loan to this company to be contacting me in this way. I will look for legal counseling into this matter. It seems that I am not the only person that has had this happen to.
It looks like a lot of people are getting letter from Connexus stating we have 5.00 in an account we never opened. I'm am certain someone is trying to get personal information..beware everyone
I, like other complainants, received an account statement with a $5 balance that I never opened. Like others, it is asking for my social, e-mail, phone numbers and mother's maiden name. I also noticed that on this page the fax number is different than what they have posted online. They go on to say that if I don't have a balance of $100 they will begin to charge me $5 per month.

Find them not to be legit when they do maillings to people (probably targeting the elderly) requesting personal info and opening an account with my name without having social security number or permission.

have never heard of Connexus credit union, however I received a statement from Connexus that showed a $5.00 balance in a credit union account that I had NEVER opened. The mailings also included a Member Information Request Form which had my name and address already completed but needed my social security number, date of birth, mother's maiden name and telephone contact information. A water softener company sub contracted with Connexus for a one year no interest loan. I paid the loan off in full in April 2017. In July 2017 I received mail from Connexus that showed a $5.00 balance in a credit union account that I had NEVER opened. The fine print said a fee would be charged on any account less than $100. This company opened a bogus account in my name. If I owed them $5.00 I should have been billed. My automobile account was immediately sold to Connexus, Wausavi, WI by Lease Maturity Services, LLC. on 10/18/16. I received, from Connexus Credit Union, a payment coupon book with instructions to go to their website Connexus.Com to register as a new client. I, attempted, numerous times but could not find the site to register. I, attempted, to contact Connexus and spoke with a "Kathy" who told me that I should be able to register and try again. It sounds as if he was attempting to register on the site of Conexus Credit Union located in Canada (.com) and not Connexus Credit Union of the United States (.org). The two are very easily confused.
