RecommendedWe come to Destin at least once a year most of the time 2 or 3. We love Silver Shells Beach Resort and Spa. We always stay in the St Maarten building and we love it. I had to wait until last minute to book this year so we had to stay at St Lucia. Our unit 902 was very clean but smaller than what we are use to. Didn’t have a very good view 😢😢. We stayed in a home in Destin managed by compass resorts. Overall our week was enjoyable but we did run in to several issues. our first day there the ac on the main level stopped working. We contacted the on call number and were told to open a window and we should be fine. Luckily the ac came back on but this issue happened 4 more times during the week and we again called but did not receive resolution. We liked the accommodations all the staff were friendly. The only bad thing about our stay was after 5 when the office closes there is no one available to resolve a problem. We were locked out of our room and had to spend the night in the lobby in wet bathing suits with only our towels for cover. We had no phones or money with us. The security guard tried to call to get us help but got no answer.
Our condo at Silver Beach Towers E1602 made our wedding week extra special! Check in was easy, everyone was friendly, condo was clean and gorgeous and the views were so spectacular!! We will definitely be back soon!!
Great place, excellent rooms, clean, very well kept, Beach crew was fantastic every day. Sand is magnificent and time of year to stay is definitely mid to late September so you will have no crowds
Our room was fantastic. We got a little studio condo for the 2 of us. Sleeps 4 but I wouldn't want to share it we with 2 other people due to lack of privacy. Bed was in the living room. But great for my husband and I! It was clean and cute. We spent quite a bit of time in it since Sally ruined our beach plans so we were pretty disappointed in our trip overall. But compass/silver shells was awesome. Awesome pool, great beach access. Quiet. Thank you!

We booked a six day vacation of 9/11/2020, on Sunday 09/13/2020 we called to cancel our vacation and the lady on the phone said that the payment had already gone through so we couldn’t cancel and get our money back. She also stated that on Wednesday it was going to be sunny the rest of our stay. We checked in on Monday it rained all night.Tuesday we went out stores were closed early due to Hurricane Sally beaches closed pools closed.
