Great independent coffee shop to pick up a delicious latte in the Shaw neighborhood.
Best chai in DC, hands down. Their chocolate chip cookies are killer, too.

So much to like here. If you sit at the back, you can see some roasting operations in action. If you sit at the front, you can people watch the street.
It has great espresso drinks, its open decent hours, there is plenty of space & lighting, and the music is at a decent volume. I couldn't ask for anything more from a good neighborhood coffee house!
Great coffee, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a great space. Also, the biscuits are to die for.
