Companion Animal Foundation is a non-profit animal rescue, program and education center, as well as thrift store. There is a cat adoption room, where one can visit with the kittens and adult cats. Our visitors are people who are looking to adopt a new family member and simply people who want a "kitty fix". We also have dogs up for adoption and rarely will have other types of animals. RecommendedLove our two kitties we adopted from CAF. It makes a super big difference that they are so wonderfully socialized in the kitty room by so many cat-loving community members. We have also been a kitten and puppy foster family and the staff is wonderful and truly cares about the animals. :-)
Such loving, caring, attentive staff members! We have recently had an excellent adoption experience with CAF. (The kitty room is a little slice of heaven.) We truly are incredibly grateful for all of the hard work that goes into caring wonderfully for so many furbabes!

Do you think I'm biased? You're probably right as I've worked at and direct CAF. The sincere love, compassion, learning from some of the most remarkable staff and volunteers makes me cry (or at least tear up!) on an almost daily basis. Most every action leads to a more compassionate community. Each adoption, each interaction with our community. I am in awe of my fellow co workers (paid and unpaid) and my community. Thank you
I was ignored by four employees until I was headed for the door. The store is very cluttered, and stinks. The clothing is yard sale quality and the prices are too high.
We recently adopted a puppy. Tanya Wilson helped pick the perfect four legged child for us. He's so amazing and lovable. Tanya seemed to know us better then we knew ourselves. She's held our hand the whole time. She's answered all our questions. And she does house calls. Who does that.? I'll tell you Tanya Wilson will. She's been so good to us. That now our adult children adopted from her as well. Tanya thanks for everything.
We adopted a great kitty who was being raised with her mom and siblings in a foster home. She got to stay with her mama until she was fixed. The foster home was great(we visited several times)and Companion Animal was very caring and involved with the health of their animals which I appreciated! We are loving our kitten!
