I think they r expensive. I have been to at least 5 vets in town and this practice seems to know more than the rest. I had the best vet in ca but i could not get him to move here. Dr Sweeney is right up there with him to.
Always open for any emergency that arises with our fur-babies
Second time there. We brought in a male guinea pig for heavy bloating; found out he was a she and she was pregnant. We were also taught how to tell gender with guinea pigs while we were there and checked her brother when we got home. Turns out her brother was actually her sister and pregnant also. These guys are very thorough and really care about the animals.
I've always been impressed with the staff here. They are so kind and sweet. Today we saw Dr. Sweeney and the level of care went beyond excellent. I would have never considered my own allergies when medicating my pets and he took my allergic reactions into consideration before prescribing antibiotics for my mouse. I really loved the way he interacted with her and talked with her.
Had to bring my foster puppy into after hours early Sunday morning, Dr Hanson and her techs were awesome and made little Taurus feel so much better. We've seen Dr Hanson a few times and she's always really great! Thanks everyone!
While they can be more a more expensive animal hospital than others, the care I've received here for my rats (both for appointments and after hours) has been excellent. Dr. Sweeney especially has been very knowledgeable and considerate with rats. I appreciate having been able to work with him and the technicians (who have also been lovely about working with fancy rats) through health concerns, as well as euthanasia.
Dr Pat Jennrich is the best vet in the world in my opinion. I have been using Como Park Animal Hospital (CPAH) since 1972 when I first moved to St Paul from Northern Minnesota. The entire staff are warm and caring and they greet our precious pets with affection and care. Dr Jennrich gets to the dog's level for examinations. He knows my dog is like my child so he is gentle with both of us. I cannot say enough good about the staff and care. I highly recommend CPAH. They are open 24/7. The staff is very friendly and try to streamline the process.
