I'm new to this credit union. There was a merger a few months backs between my past CU through my employer. My first bad experience was a couple weeks ago. A post-dated check was deposited and cash, which put me in the red. Call customer service, a image of my check was reviewed date clearly said 12/16/16. Now I assume that a post dated could not be deposit and cashed until the date on the check, that is how most payrolls are done, so I didn't understand the difference. I have used Community America since before it was Community America. I am usually very happy with the service and the way I am treated there. I do not however like the fact that they are taking the community out of Community America. They are replacing the face to face tellers with computers with people working in another state. I used to enjoy going to the bank drive through and knowing the teller, not anymore. I am now talking worth someone over in Kansas I think not really sure. This is a great bank! Our CC #'s have been stolen twice and the bank notified us immediately about out of town purchases and froze them. Didn't cost us a dime. They have your back!
I have been a member for a long, long time, always talked highly about costumer service, now everything is so different, costumer service is terrible!!! People on the phone don't make you feel like they care about your concerns or issues. They are rude! I am closing my account today. So sad to see how they are not following the guidelines of a credit union. Bye, Bye!
I love Community America and the network of local credit unions they are a part of. The hours are great, the locations are great, and whether I am doing business at one of their dedicated branches or the Mazuma shared branch, I am always treated with kindness and respect.
I have been banking with them for several years and had nothing but the best service. The online banking is fast and up to date. The people who work there are always helpful and pleasant. I even had an issue a couple years ago with the IRS putting the wrong account number on my direct deposit for my tax refund, and CACU was able to assist in making sure it got deposited correctly to my account so I didn't have to wait for the funds. Thank you for all you do!
