Poor service at the Antioch branch today. When someone wants information about opening a business account one would think they would say what they offer vs their competition. She offered the bare minimum information that she could and seemed put out doing it.
I've banked with CACU for at least 6 years and they have now changed their policy to not allow my paycheck to be available until "the next business day." This is a considerable inconvenience as I have bills to pay and medical supplies that need to be purchased. Every single branch previously cashed my checks without issue and there was never a problem with them. This is very disappointing as previously I had recommended CACU to friends as a good bank to work with. Sadly I can no longer do so.

I used to love Community America until they switched the Englewood HyVee branch to an automated branch without tellers. Now it takes me longer to conduct my business, the lines are just as long, and there still seem to he just as many employees milling around. The convenience factor has plummeted. It may be time to start looking at other credit unions.

Community America Credit Union will not stand behind their Visa cards. I purchased some stuff from a seller in the amount of $4000. I used my Visa card. The merchant did not deliver the product and I filed a dispute with the Credit Union. They returned my money but only for a short time. I again have never received the item I paid for. I have called three days in a row to get answers on my home loan and no one will call me back. I do not feel valued at all.
Before my husband and I started the process of buying a home, many of our family friends suggested using Community America to finance our home. Quickly after submitting an inquiry, our lending agent Jackie called us with follow up questions to become pre-qualified. Through the entire process, Jackie and Sam kept us up-to-date on all the information needed and really helped us with preparing to make an offer on our home.
