worst hospital ever...And they arent very clean
RecommendedOnly good experiences there, and saved my son’s life.
My daughter had low O2 sats in the upper 80’s. We were told by our MD to take her to the closest Hospital. We went to community south. The staff was rude at the admission counter but I chalked it up to being busy. I left my daughter in tears as I could not be with her. They put a pulse ox on her and left the room. No one did a full set of vital signs, or even put a stethoscope to her chest. No chest X-ray and no labs. They shoved a swab up her nose, threw papers in her lap. Told her to get dressed and leave. Everyone is rude, lacking compassion and hospitality that we have dealt with in the past few months in this hospital except the ultra sound tech "Taylor". and she was wonderful.
Nobody likes having to go to the hospital. However, at Community South my wife had some surgery done and I cannot say enough about the staff. From Nursing to Dr. to the registration desk. It made the experience more comfortable than any other hospital I have been to. Keep up the great work. It does get noticed!!❤️
I am absolutely horrified and furious at the barbaric treatment I received at this facility. I came in here yesterday due to what I felt was a mental health emergency. I was in the middle of a mental breakdown due to severe anxiety and started having suicidal ideations, like I would be better off if I wasn’t alive. I waited in the waiting room for a half hour, was then triaged and put into a quarantine like room with a shut door for over 45 minutes without any interaction. The nurses were rude and snappy from the time I came in. I couldn’t breathe and it was hard to talk but 2 nurses kept telling me well clearly you can breath bc your oxygen level is fine so just breath normal. Then I get to a room another nurse comes in and starts asking questions no one introduces who they are before asking questions and then snap at me bc I nod my head to answer the questions. Please correct your laboratory hours online because it says you close at six when they actually close at five! I found this out after I wasted gas and time for an hour drive along with having to do another 24 hour urine test because your hours are wrong. I had to take my wife to the ER here today for seizure related issues and it was the worst hospital visit I have ever had in any hospital. the nurses were disgusting, and two faced. were bad mouthing me after I left to my wife, accused me of abusing her with zero evidence.
