Saw the video of the women and her oxygen tank that ran out but I have to say I hear stories like this ALL THE TIME for this location. There's a reason we drive out of our way to avoid this hospital.
The hospital has begun to use the new entrance and exit for ambulances. It is in a neighborhood. We have lived next to the hospital for over 3 years and hear little to no sirens in the area. For some reason now for the past 48 hours not only are they using sirens at full blast but they are doing so in a highly residential area. Poor choice on behalf of the hospital and sad for the neighbors who are now going to suffer from noise pollution.
I have only 1 lung with severe Asthma. I'm admitted to the hospital at least once a year. I've been going to Community hospital since 1991. everyone is always smiling and friendly. I know a lot of the nurses in ER, ICU, progressive care. I know a lot of the respiratory therapists. they know me as well. I often go to the ER, at times its really bad. but when I see a familiar face I feel its going to be ok. a face like Sandy in respiratory. I always get the best care I could ask for. I feel like they really care about me!!! I'... read more
DR GULL IS MY DR MY NAME IS CINDY STONE AND I HAVE BEEN IN THAT HOSPITAL
We have had two hospital stays with my 96 yr old father, once in May and then this past Oct. Both times the doctors, nurses, and staff were wonderful with him. He had dementia and was hard of hearing but they treated him with compassion and dignity. Best of all they got his sense of humor and went along with it! He ended up at home with the Community hospice care and sadly died 10 days later. Hospice care was wonderful. Matt our nurse was very kind, compassionate and informative and right there when we needed him in the end.... read more
Horrible. The intake nurse got smart at hello. The triage nurse literally faked a BP in my face. She put the cuff on...asked the questions and then took it off. 3hr wait time so far. I’ll be back with more. I’m sure there will be more.
Twice in two years, Dr. Jansen's Friday Fun team has provided me with exceptional surgical care at East. They have been skilled, professional and compassionate. I wouldn't want any other team in charge of my care. Thanks to Dr. Jansen, Dr. Good and the entire team for your diligent care.
I was falsely held on an Immediate Detention, taken off my medications, given a table for a bed and held for 17 hours against my will. I refused treatment but was still billed even though the law says that the county should pay when the detention was not necessary.
