We've been waiting 4 hours just to get in a room after being referred here by our family physician. Told it "usually doesn't take this long." I don't really care when I have a very sick hubby. At this point, I would not recommend community north.
On October 8th my mother was taken to Community North after being treated at another hospital. She was in her final stages of acute myeloid leukemia. The staff in the ER were wonderful treated her and us like family. After she was admitted in a private room the nursing staff and doctors were wonderful. Not only did they comfort us and make sure we were okay they very gently and graciously cared for my mother. I wouldn't even give the ER a 1 star! Dr McGoff is one of the most ignorant and careless doctors I have met! Discharged my sister while she was still not stable!

Really great hospital!
The past month has been filled with tests and surgery at Community North and Community Heart and Vascular and I honestly could not have asked for better care. The nurses, doctors and staff have been beyond wonderful and so caring and supportive.
I have had nothing but THE BEST care/service/support and even made some new Friends along my journey since January. I've been to North/South and East and all have been above and beyond in all areas!
Had to go to the ER in July 13 for imaging. Got my bill in August and paid it off in October. So I have a zero balance until February when out of the blue I get a bill for an additional $650 related to the same claim that I paid off in October with zero explanation as to the new amount. I've been asking for two months now for reason why they increased the charge in February for a visit in July and they keep giving me the run around.
