My 11-year-old daughter has a major surgery in a couple of weeks and was instructed to donate 1-2 autologous units prior to the procedure. The personnel at this center went out of their way to accommodate her and make sure she was as comfortable as she could possibly be, given the circumstances. Pam Poorman was particularly sweet, nurturing, and genuine, covering my daughter with blankets during the donation and even hugging us before we left! I always go to the downtown Dayton location and they're all great and professional and hey a free t shirt and cookies is worth maybe a half hour of my time! I have O- and also cmv- so I love knowing I can help nicu babies!
All I can say is do your part and DONATE. I have given a total of 45 pints and for the most part its went to Childrens. One ounce of blood is a transfusion for an infant so with that said I challenge all o Negative blood types to DONATE.
Best Cake EVER!!! And I've had a lot of cake in my lifetime
