Our room had cobwebs and moths everywhere and the floors I don’t think had been cleaned in over a week or so . Sheets were dirty I asked for our bed to be changed and room cleaned up and I was told maids were gone for the night . ( mind you it was 3 pm). I guess this is cause we weren’t the normal college crowd age that don’t care . I’m not old either but I’m not sleeping in filth . Sorry your stay was not enjoyable. Many people return to our location and call it there second home and would never go anywhere else. Upon check out you stated that you would put a bad review everywhere you could since you did not get a free stay with us, thanks for your review and I am sure others can read between the lines. For your information and others, the moths you are referring to are mayflies, they cannot be helped. The come from the bottom of the lake and are attracted to light and light clothing. wanted to stay close to town. thought it would be a nice place to stay. got to our room & our view, was a brick wall. we always ck out the rm before hand, just to make sure everything is ok. my husband noticed a piece of glass sticking out from behind the TV stand. come to find out, from the cleaning lady & manager that the previous renters had broken the pic while there & hid the glass. the floor had to be swept & mopped, bc it was a mess. later that night, we wanted to use the jacuzzi, only to find out, the button was brok... read more

I only work mornings not sure what manger you are referring to that thought you were a bother. Nor did I ever tell someone to be quiet. I did refuse to give you a free stay but that was all. Hopefully your next stay on the island will be more enjoyable.

RecommendedWe love this place! We come every year and stay in a pool view room. It’s the best pool/bar on the island. So close to everything and now that Cameo Pizza is here we are set for the week! The only thing I could recommend is that they clean the floors and the upper deck better on the pool view rooms. Our feet are always black just walking in our room, and we feel it could be better. We will return as always!

Thank you for the great review and glad you here! We would love recommendations on good floor cleaners, we have tried about every brand on the market in the stores, Amazon, etc. and they all seem to make the floor look clean once we are done mopping it twice after each turn. Than after a few hours after people have checked in they are dirty. We believe it due to the outside area which we pressure wash as much as possible but it is tough when there are stay overs. Open to suggestions.
Great location and great visit!! Always clean and ready early. Would highly recommend staying here!!!!

We had an amazing time at the Commodore Resort! Room was clean and updated...air was working percectly... The view of the pool was great and the pool party was a blast!!! We will be back!!!!

Sorry the mayflies were coming our way with the winds and we felt it was to close down than have the bugs interfere with your fun!.
Me and my wife have been here several times. ALWAYS a great time for a weekend get-away. Rent a golf cart and just have a seriously good time with good food, reasonable shopping and great people. Looking for some friends to go with this year! Saw the Killer Flamingos for the first time here 😃
