I have to say that The only good thing about this resort was the pool. The rooms were absolutely disgusting. Our sink didn’t drain, when I went to the front desk to tell them she said there’s nothing she can do at this time. There was a piece of metal sticking out of the bed frame which sliced my leg open. When I told them about it she said “it keeps the bed together” and walked away.. the floors were absolutely disgusting. After walking barefoot in our room for 10 minutes the bottoms of our feet were black. Nobody ever came... read more

Business response:

I am not sure who you spoke with but I will have meeting with the staff. They should have told our maintenance staff about the sink. And the bed frame does have metal pieces sticking out that does have a covers that past guests and foreign workers have thrown away and I have been trying to find replacement pieces. We are in the process of changing out our frames, but can't afford to do all them at once. As far as floors I have seen numerous guest walk into their rooms with there shoes on to drop of luggage or use restroom wi... read more

We love staying here!! Unfortunately they are implementing a 3 night minimum stay starting the weekend we would be arriving (6/26). Which seems a bit unreasonable because it is NOT a holiday weekend and with just returning to work after COVID lay-off, taking an extra day off just can’t happen. Oh well, there are other places to stay. ☹️ We just love being so close to the heart of things.

Business response:

Thank you for the recommendation and being a loyal customer. We have been doing 3 night stays for years and actually start them the second week in June but did put it off until the last weekend in June to help those who want/need to get away but are having financial hardship or were back to work. If we do not sell all our rooms by Thursday we will probably go to 2 nights for the last few rooms, but there are only 4 left last I looked so it is unlikely we will have any by that Thursday. The 3 night minimum applies to all of J... read more

I only stay in this hotel when I visit the island! The rooms are always clean and the staff always helpful and friendly. The hotel manager, Kelly, goes out of her way to make sure guests are welcome and have what they need, she makes everyone feel like family! The location is great for walking to all the bars and restaurants. I love staying on the "old side" which is the additonal building they have, the balconies are great and it overlooks the pool! Cannot wait to return!

Business response:

Thank you for the great review!!

Disgraceful and terrible way to run a business. I took my 11yr old daughter on a spontaneous road trip to Put-In-Bay. Got to the ferry at 6pm and the cashier says we better call to see if we can even get a room because we’d have to come right back. I got a room for $225. We bought tickets but turned out that my daughter had a full blown panic attack and wouldn’t get on the ferry. I called the hotel within 1.5hrs to cancel my reservation. They told me it was non-refundable because the cancellation policy states no refund with... read more

Came up for kid rock at bash on the bay. Anytime I go somewhere new I always read reviews and do my research. So when it came to my booking I was a little skeptical bc I had seen a couple reviews of bed bugs. So moving on to a more positive note. Upon arrival first thing I done was search high and low for bugs, and in my case none were to be found and I would say the room was clean. I will say if your a picky person that only wants to see the bad in something... well it’s not a Hyatt but all I was looking for is a clean plac... read more
