I had a disappointing experience at OSF HealthCare in Dixon while getting labs done. A staff member, Marcia, treated me with noticeable disrespect when I was alone. I ended up calling my partner because I felt so uncomfortable, and it wasn’t until he confronted her that her demeanor completely changed—suddenly she was polite and referring to me as “ma’am.” That kind of inconsistency is unacceptable. Imagine you had spine surgery and can barely walk as it is the physical therapist has the nerve to ask you why do you have a cane... everytime you go you spend a majority of the time not doing anything because not one person on your care team listens to you when you say your chest hurts.. rather than working on that we just push pt.. which you'll be luck if you can get to because out of the 3 handicap parking spots they have good luck finding anything remotely close to the doors.
