RecommendedThis is our 2nd time at this hospital. Both times my son had to have anesthesia for his procedure and it was so amazing. The Dr’s, nurses, MA’s, and all the staff are polite, helpful, and explain things in a nice way. They have great bed side manner. Not once did we feel like just a number. Five stars across the board. And Dr Mark Elias is one of the best specialist writers have ever been with. He’s a Dr that doesn’t stop looking for causes just because one ailment can be answered. saved my grandsons life and he is doing great
Had a horrible experience at Comer as a guest. First of all we were praying in the lobby and a security guard approached us and told us that it is against hospital policy to pray in public and asked us not to pray out loud in the lobby. Then we were refused access to the cafeteria because we were to big of a group (10). I checked in at an information desk and was labeled as “part of that family”... I was even told I couldn’t sit in a certain area of the lobby because the receptionist couldnt “see what I was doing from her ch... read more
We were very pleased with our physician and surgery care. However, nursing care in recovery and on the nursing unit was very poor. I have been a nurse over 30 years and I would have a difficult time allowing my granddaughter to go back there for future care.
The PICU staff was absolutely amazing while taking care of our little girl! The neurology team was extremely knowledgeable and helpful answering all of our questions during a terrifying time!
I have never in my 50 years been talked down to in the way that I’ve been talked to in this hospital the staff with the exception of front desk security and one nurse in the nicu is absolutely not professional granted I have not had an encounter with all staff nor at this point do I want to. This is a zero tolerance facility key word facility so why is the nurse grabbing my daughters hand away from our grand daughter in a threatening manor I most absolutely would not recommend the nicu at u of Chicago to any one and we are r... read more

Comers Childrens Hospital is beautiful inside. Well kept clean too. This hospital is filled with Beautiful people of God. That are willing to help out in anyway they can. God bless all the Doctors ,Nurses, Security,Medical Teams, and Staff for A very warm welcome to us as a family. May God shine down with Protection and love for all that work and visit here .
