Place is a joke, Nuff Said all the one star reviews should tell you there is a real problem here. The DR staff in the addiction center should be terminated immediately for all the unproffessional behavior. He helps no one and has an attitude and ego problem.
If I had the money i would be suing tjis place. Went for help to detox from ligitimate pain med dependency. Got treate like a criminal by so called head pyschiatrist. Egomaniac that if you have a brain or opionon attacks you like its a competition. Numer of clients come out of his so called $300 dollar a day session that lasts maybe 10 minutes crying angry and frightened. If you need help with addiction, do NOT go to this facility. My husband went to this facility a month and a half ago for Alcohol abuse, and his experience was AWFUL!!!!!!!!! His initial assessment to see if he could be helped was scheduled at 2pm. We waited for over an hour before he saw a nurse for his intake assessment. The first day he started the outpatient IOP, he advised that all they did was watch a movie (yes, an actual movie!!!) and there was no discussion whatsoever about addiction. There is no place to give honest feedback. They watch you fill out the satisfaction survey. This place is a joke. A not funny joke. It's like putting people in a cage and charging them $1000 a day. They feed you and you see a doctor for 5-10 minutes a day. Otherwise you would do well at home.
Horrible. And you fill out the patient satisfaction survey with the nurse watching you (the only time you meet with a nurse indivually).
Just a place to sleep and get meds regulated. No individual care. Docs ok. NPs charge for one hour, after 5 minutes. Ask for an itemized bill. This place is a racket .
Nice physical facility . Once admitted you will be scheduled to go to many groups - most are cancelled. Visitors flood the unit starting at 6 pm. Mainly to free up staff. No concern for patient privacy. The meals are disgusting. Also there is no ice- just vats of crystal light chemical drink. It's pretty but you won't get care here
It's just a holding area. Very expensive but no individual care. I'm sure the nurses and therapists want to care, but the staff to patient ratio is just too big. The techs provide the only interaction. You could get the same care at Walmart
A very expensive baby-sitting experience. Nurses stay in med room. I was asked once a shift, with no privacy, to rate my anxiety and suicidality. Groups were generic. "Therapists" were only concerned with discharge planning. At no time during my stay did I receive any individual attention. I am a quiet person - I was invisible there. The facility is nice, but is definetly a for-profit only facility. Don't go there except to detox or stay safe from immediately killing yourself.
