Absolute thieves. I put my membership on pause due to COVID limitations and after 1 month they started charging my account without my consent or knowledge. When I “reactivated” my membership, my card was charged $445. I called membership accounting to dispute this charge, and they essentially said “Sucks to suck.” Fred Schewda is the man I spoke too about my issue and he was extremely rude and unconcerned about the dishonest treatment. He did not return the unauthorized charges and didn’t care at all about retaining me as a ... read more

Business response:

Hello, Megan~ I apologize about your frustrations. In reviewing your account, your membership was placed on hold April -September at no cost. We sent you an email in August letting you know your hold was over and your membership would reactivate on September 1. It looks like we called and left voicemails, sent emails and mailed 7 letters to your residence about your account beginning in October with no response. Since your membership was reactivated, your membership dues are owed.

Unsanitary, overpriced, scammy. I was a member there last summer. It was nice when I started but quickly declined as they became short-staffed. The indoor pool was often so dirty it was cloudy. On two occasions my skin smelled disgusting after exiting the pool. I developed strange bumps on my hands that disappeared after leaving the club. The same piles of hair left and bandages in the steam room for days on end which proved the staff lied to me when they told me it was cleaned nightly. I had a very inappropriate massage by ... read more

I reached out to cancel my membership recently. You need to give at least one month’s notice, so I was slated to pay one more month in dues - April 2020. They just charged me for that month, even though we are in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis and the gym is closed. Additionally, the FAQ section on their website says they will not be charging dues for people who have canceled their membership during this time. I emailed them about this a week ago to confirm I wouldn’t be charged, but no response. Now that I’ve actually bee... read more

They are not good folks. They make quitting very hard and expensive. Not honorable

I was a member for 5 years. I've never belonged to a gym where 'management' and the financial department have been so complacent. When I was over-billed for 3 months in a row, the financial department was INCREDIBLY rude to me, and even hung up the phone on me...as if it was my problem. Impressive customer service. This behavior, in combination with the poorly maintained equipment, and lack-luster class schedule is what led me to move on. I wish they actually had some competition in town since they are essentially a default ... read more

Get rid of current management, pay a decent wage, work hard on turnover rate, provide classes to GM's and upper leadership on managing employees, customer service skills, and add HR to every club so they are there on site.
