I started living at colony woods April 2023 and the entire year I had no issues but as soon as next year comes around rent goes and maintenance doesn't fix nothing. My AC has gon out every other week now and everytime I go to the office they tell me the same bs everytime "he'll be by there today". Keep in mind whatever the temper is outside it gets higher inside and the humidity has been terrible these past weeks. Rent has gon up and maintenance just doesn't fix anything anymore. ????
Have lived here 4 years. Would move if I could. Maintenance stinks. Have been trying to get our water running for 5 days. Keep getting the runaround. No one will own anything. It's always someone else that needs to do something. Would really love to leave but cannot afford to. You are expected to pay your rent on time but they do not fulfill there end of the lease by making this an acceptable place to live.
This apartment complex has gone downhill in the years I have lived there. The phones are hardly ever answered, and when someone in the office does answer they are not able to do anything other than say, "Ok." Or they will have someone else handle it. Maintenance was good, and now is horrible. I have been calling for over a week regarding issues (including black mold), and nothing has been done - other than receiving an email that the service ticket has been closed. They never answer the phone. EVER. If you do get someone, he does not know what is going on. Just clueless, being paid to be useless and clueless. They have five different numbers and they do not answer any of them. Do not think about getting corporate involved Regina nor Debbie care. Spent a week trying to talk to corporate and Regina only cared if the mold was gone and not the issue of them destroying my property. My daughter lives in the complex as well. Unhappy is an understatement. My roommates and I moved here less than 2 months ago. Upon move-in, we created a list of things that needed to be fixed (i.e. clogged drain, no fire alarm, broken stove top, broken door lock, etc). It took maintenance a MONTH to fix our stove. We could not cook in our own apartment for a month! They finally fixed the stove, but nothing else on the list. Why I am not moving here! I was thinking of moving to this complex, but I then I heard about a water leak. Apparently there has been a leak since SEPTEMBER, which has increased tenants water bills 100%!! And the complex is currently refusing to reimburse the tenants for the leak that is the complexes fault. Spread the word! The staff here does not care about fixing the leak! They do not care that the tenants water bills have drastically spiked!! On top of this they are threatening to evict tenants who are not wanting to pay ... read more
Amazing community and staff that is priced right. I moved into Colony Woods November 2017. During my move I ran into some issues, however the front office staff was amazing. They are very accommodating, professional, courteous and they worked with me to ensure that my move-in went as smooth as possible. I viewed many different complexes before finding Colony Woods and as soon as I toured it I was sold on it. This property is very well maintained and the price seems to be very fair. Want to live with cockroaches? Worst place we've ever lived! When we moved in the apartment was dirty, the AC was broken and mold was everywhere! The office staff is beyond rude and they've hung up on me multiple times! The maintenance staff was clueless and never fixed anything correctly. We had cockroaches in our apartment DAILY and even had them come out of air vents!
