This is an authentic diner but it happens to have many gluten free and vegan options!! I have celiac and I trusted them to answer my questions and tell me which items would not have cross contamination. My server Sierra knew all the answers and even brought over a picture of the ingredients in the syrup without me asking just so I could double check! Great.food. enormous portions. Seriously prepare to take the second meal home.
This was my first time here and will definitely not be my last. I was here with the Wallingford Connecticut Senior Center. I arrived early due to transportation my waitress. Very disappointing experience. The Chicken Française was really bad and was not served hot when it arrived. We waited almost 20 minutes just for the soup and salad, and the main course took about 40 minutes. The Chicken Française was $30. We took one bite and couldn’t eat any more, so the entire dish was left untouched. Given the quality of the dish and the long wait, I would like to request a $30 refund for the Chicken Française. Unfortunately, this was not worth the price at all.
