I found Cole's on the Internet and I'm so glad I did. The Cole's team (Howard & Sarah) are fantastic!!!! Plus the costumer service is outstanding. First time my car was repaired we thought the problem was fixed. We had to return the car, Howard did not charge me for the repairs second time around since he did not find the problem the first time, plus he fixed my windshield water hose at no charge. Had a power Steering pump installed a few months back from these guys,they even power washed my engine and under the van which was great very happy! The work they did was better then excellent, one place wanted to change me around 500 dollars and the dealer wanted to charge me between 700-800 dollars and that's not counting to even have them just look at it. Now when I took in my van ( 1990 GMC Vandura 2500) they quoted me on around 200-300 dollars. Which wasn't bad saved me 200 and plus more dollars. Ill have to admit they ... read more

I decided to take my car in to Coles to get checked out after several failed attempts to get the problem fixed with other mechanics. At Coles, they were able to diagnose the problem and fix it in less than a day. My car runs like new! The mechanic (Howard) is the owner and his wife Sara, the office manager are both exceptionally nice, helpful, very knowledgeable and most importantly HONEST. I have found a Mechanic for life! After the Dealer diagnosed my truck as” Transmission Failure” and advised me it will take approximately $4,900.00 to fix it (Mind you, my truck is valued at $5,125.00) after looking on the internet for companies to “Rebuild Transmission” (I thought that would be cheaper) I found a company that was cheep (about $1,400.00) but they had my truck over 30 days, removed and rebuilt my transmission THREE times and still could not get my truck to run. I am new to the DFW area and I "was" looking to find an honest top quality mechanic. How I ended up at Cole's is shortly after moving here wouldn't you know it, my car broke down... It was recommended to me to take my car to City Garage. Not knowing any better I did. When I first discovered Coles Auto Repair I was floored with all the great reviews they had. So I called them to get a price to have my transmission rebuilt. When I called I had just received word from the dealership that I needed a new transmission in my 01 Odyssey. Cole's gave me a price of $1400 plus hard parts. I called 15 or so auto repair shops and received prices any where from $2200.00 to $3150.00 for a transmission repair. then I found Coles Auto and Transmission Repair and read the reviews WOW.. Then I called them and I'm glad I did. They gave me the best news of the year $1575.00. So I decided to take my vehicle to their shop and allow them to check it out. Recently I had issues with my ford and was quoted 350 to get the problems fixed. Using my better judgement I did my due diligance and came across coles website preaching sincerity and good ethics. He got my car in and under quoted me and did not fix the problem. the first appearance is a too good to be true because it is just that. i will never take another vehicle there and will let everyone know how much of a scam artist that operation is

Cole’s Auto Repair is simply the best in Arlington. I’ve lived here in Arlington for over 30 years and I strongly believed that I have found one of the best in auto mechanic in town.
