Mission Our Mission Is To Speak For The Animals History The Coconino Humane Association was founded in 1955 by a group of concerned and dedicated people who felt there needed to be a change in the way animals were being treated in our community. The shelter was built with donations from businesses, service organizations, and a few very dedicated individuals. I use to work there and loved it! The staff and the Animal Control Officers(Plaz) were very pleasant to work with plus my boss Dennis Pugh was awesome!
They were very kind to me and helpful when we lost our dog mays. She is still missing but I am sure they do what is in thief power. Thanks
