Just had a endoscopy & colonoscopy at the Okatie Surgery Center. The staff was very friendly and attentive, made me and my wife feel very comfortable. Dr Bell was great, would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, no noscence doctor. He clearly explained the process and findings. The procedures were quick and I had no after effects which was not the case for my previous proceedures with other physicians.

Dr. Bell took a great deal of time with my husband and me. He listened to my chest and ordered a lung xray. After referrals to pulmonologists, i was diagnosed with lung cancer. I had no symptoms and never smoked. He even called even on a Saturday to ask about me. We will always be grateful to him.

Dr. Bell is knowledgeable and very direct. He diagnosed my issues and recommended two prescriptions. It has been several weeks since my appointment and both conditions have improved significantly due to his correct diagnosis and recommendations.

I went to three other doctors for the same problem and none were able to heal The area. Dr Bell listened, and prescribed a treatment which cleared the area within the recommend time frame. I highly recommend Dr Bell.

I'm over 65 and have needed to have several colonoscopies over the years. By far, Dr. Bell's prep is the easiest and least unpleasant I've ever experienced. No cramping, and the combination of Miralax and Gatorade or Powerade is by far the best combination I've had to use ( I don't even like these sports drinks - never have them on a normal basis!). After the procedure, Dr. Bell spent the time to discuss his findings WHEN I WAS AWAKE. No question - I highly recommend Dr. Bell and his staff

My wife developed a sudden and serious bleeding ulcer. She was brought to ER and Dr. Bell was the attending doctor. Because of his understanding of my wife’s critical situation, he elected perform the procedure late that evening rather than wait for the next day as scheduled ... preventing likely serious consequences. He is thorough and helpful in his explanations and has a very professional demeanor.

When admitted to the ICU DR Bell quickly evaluated my issues and did emergency surgery to stop the bleeding from a ruptured stomach ulcer. Without his quick analysis of my situation I might not have made it through the night. His follow up visits while I was still in the hospital were very helpful and informative. He is very thorough and does not leave anything to doubt. I trust him with my life

Dr Bell is an excellent Gastroenterologist! I have been his patient since 2014, when I arrived at Hilton Head Hospitial with a bleeding ulcer and hemoglobin count of below 7.0 g/dL. Dr. Bell rushed me into the ER and cauterized my bleeding ulcer. I remained in the hospital for 4 days, receiving blood infusions, until my hemoglobin count was above 9.0 g/dL. Dr. Bell has successfully addressed and resolved other Gastro issues that I have had since 2014 and I remain a very loyal patient.

Dr. Bell is not only one of the most competent doctors I've ever seen, he is also a true person. He helped me when everyone else seemed not too. You will not regret giving Doctor Bell a chance. His staff is amazing.
