So thankful that Dr. Bell was the physician on call when I took my father into the ER in an emergency situation. He literally saved my fathers life with his expertise and was able to do an emergency endoscopy immediately - and diagnosed his condition quickly. He communicated well in layman's terms in a personable way that made sense and we will always be appreciative for his kindness and thoroughness.
Dr. Bell is a wonderful physician who took such great care of me and made me feel right at ease. I appreciate his compassion and willingness to help and would certainly recommend him with raving reviews.
An issue with a newly placed feeding tube brought us to the ER unexpectedly, we were fortunate that Dr. Bell was available and willing to fit us into his schedule with no advance notice. He and his team did an evaluation, determined what was required, consulted with the surgeon at MUSC and then replaced the feeding tube - the new tube is functioning efficiently and easily. I have great confidence in Dr. Bell's analytical and practical skills. I would recommend him with no reservations.
Dr Bell is an energetic man, ready to roll up his sleeves : AND WORK On diagnosing and treating his patients - there is a terrific “ vibe” at his office : you can sense his competent staff are loyal and hardworking also

I have been to many many doctors and I have to say Dr. Bell is one of the most competent, old school doctors who really wants to solve medical issues. He is extremely thorough and spends a lot of time discussing options with you. I highly recommend him for any person in need of an excellent gastro guy, especially if you are complicated.
Dr. Bell performed my colonoscopy on Sept. 26, 2019. From the initial admission staff, to the nurses, to the anesthesiologist, and meeting pre surgery briefly with Dr. Bell, it was an amazingly positive experience! Rude and not helpful after waiting for an appointment 2+ months to tell me nothing is wrong with me.Safe to say visited another doctor who listened and told me what is wrong with me. I have never in my life wrote a review but I don't want someone else to feel the way I did and have no solution. Nurses on the other hand were lovely.
I am 87 and have had the greatest regard for Dr Bell for nearly 20 years. I will always be grateful that I met him. He is truly the kindest and also the most conscientious doctor I have ever known. He is the best.
