RecommendedWe came to Kitty Hawk on vacation and our Whippet started showing signs of sand impaction from playing fetch on the beach. The team at CAH took amazing care of him for 24 hours while he recovered and reassured us along the way. God forbid we need emergency vet help on vacation again, but if we do we will 100% be coming here.
As great of an experience as one could expect at an emergency vet. Fixed our fur baby right up!!!

We were on vacation in Nags Head when our 18 year old dog became ill. Everyone at Coastal Animal Hospital was very courteous and accommodating. They worked us in for an appointment and Dr. Sara Beth Belton gave our Blonde excellent care and recommended helpful remedies. She is feeling much better today. THANK YOU Coastal Animal Hospital!
Here on vacation and our one dog bit the other one and she needed 4 staples. We called and thye said bring her right down. We drove down from Corolla on the 4x4 area and they got us in and out very quickly. They were professional and very nice to deal with and bill wasn't outrageous either.

my dog Scout needed emergency care during our stay in nc. Coastal A H was great fitting me in & quickly helped me decide he needed surgery. Staff & doctors are wonderful, clean & professional. I will be using them when I move here full time.
Dr Hicks is very knowledgeable and truly loves animals. She was very kind and loving when we had to put our cat down. Easy to make an appointment, and a great location.
