We purchased a new home and wanted to replace most of the carpet with hardwood flooring ASAP after settlement so we could get the floors done before moving in. Walt fit us into the schedule and had the floors (nearly 2,000 sq ft) completely done within 2 weeks of our first meeting. This was a small job. I contacted several other companies that were not willing to do the work or wanted to charge me a premium for a small job. Coale & Son not only came out to see the job and provide an estimate, their price was more than fair. They showed up on time, were very professional, and did the job in one day. My floor looks fantastic! I couldn't be happier!
Did a fairly good job in the kitchen with tile. Terrible with carpet in 2 rooms, and stairway. After telling me what they were going to do, they didn't do it and left ugly seams showing in all areas. Living room sculpted carpet didn't match up. Worst of all, Walt refused to come back to even attempt to fix the problem - with every contact there was another excuse why he couldn't come out. Absolutely unacceptable. Obviously doesn't stand behind his work and doesn't care once he gets paid.

He answered all my questions and his quote was lower than another one I got. They did an amazing job restoring 100 year old floors. They matched our kitchen to the flooring as well. I would recommend them to anyone looking for wood floor refinishing.
Walt and his son did a great job refinishing 55 yr old floors to like-new condition.
Did a nice job installing tile in a small bathroom, far more reasonable and efficient to deal with than Lowes!

The first time doing the floor the drum dug into the floor the second time he came out thee saw dust was never cleaned up and that caused the saw dust to get into the floor making it feel like sand paper. He refused to come out and fix it and also hung up on me told me I was an un appreciative customer. Also the stain was all over the shoe molding

this customer was impossible to please. we did the floor over 3 times at our expense. first she didn't like the stain shade which she picked, then she didn't like the sheen of urethane that she also picked. we did the job for the 3rd and final time and we supplied and installed new shoe molding at our expense. contractors be aware of this person!!!
