Dr Carr came to the IME dressed as if he was going to Margaritaville. Asked a few questions made me bend and lift my arms and said I was completely fine. He must not of read my medical papers. I had 2 surgeries on my neck, fused and caged (C4-C7 and T1). I have limited mobility (head & neck) and can’t bend my head backwards. Have a pin in my left shoulder and rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder- can’t reach behind my back with either arm. Was seen the day I called for arthritic knee swelling, Robert aspirated it, novocaine and cortisone. Very gentle, informed me along the way what he was going to do. So much relief this office I have gone to for over 20 years and they are absolutely the best!! Dr Carr performed shoulder surgery on my husband with great results.
When I called them to ask why certain details were not included within the report I was immediately asked if I had an attorney. That is not ok especially since it makes you wonder why they'd ask that. If you ask me I should get an attorney and file charges because they know exactly what they did wrong. Also stop hiding reviews.
If you've received notice that you need to have an IME regarding a workers compensation claim and the "doctor" performing the exam is Daniel Carr, do yourself a favor and immediately hire a workers comp attorney you're probably going to need one. If you are seeking out Dr Carr for his Orthopedic services please make yourself comfortable with the fact that you are putting your health, safety and possibly your life in the hands of a Doctor who is more then happy to lay his professional ethics to one side for hard cash and has ... read more
I can’t say enough good about Dr. Carr and his nurse practitioner, Robert I have been an athlete all my life and after having suffered a knee injury and seeing orthos at SOS and Upstate and telling me, that at my age, surgery and possible hip replacement was the answer - I decided to see Dr Carr As an athlete, I know the power of rehabilitation if you are willing to put in the work- Dr Carr agreed that physical therapy should be our first approach.
