Most of the staff was nice but when they have to stick you three times before they call someone with more experience an you are telling the nurse the whole time that it takes the smallest needle they have an that your veins will pop an she didn't listen so I did not have a very good experience as far as that was concerned
The staff was very professional and thorough and took very good good care of me.
Spent the entire day in the ER there. Father in law fell off a roof, gashed his head. They did a CT scan, put in 6 staples and sent him home. This took from 10 am-4 pm. Observed MANY people waiting to be seen, MANY staff members milling around, no one seemed to be in a hurry, MANY people waiting ALONE in cubbies or hallways to be cared for. My FiL was not assessed for anything other than the gash in his head. He fell 12 feet, could hardly stand from back pain but they didn't seem concerned about that so they've sent us home.... read more
I don't like going to cmc because they take way to long and a lot of if not most of the staff are nasty.
This dam hospital sucks. On top of that i heard the nurses talking bout a patient.
Just so anyone in Charlotte or surrounding areas, avoid CMC MAIN, AND UNIVERSITY. Long wait times for ER. Lab results take up to close to 4 hours for results when the results they need to see takes 30 minutes. Will never go to another hospital in Charlotte unless there is no way around it. I will go to Concord or Huntersville. This hospital sucks. Nurse walks by and asks is "SHE" doing ok? I said well yes "HE" says he is ok. They don't even know who the patients are. Just walking around. UNPROFESSIONAL! !!!
