We have used A+ for years with no issues until they were bought out & service/pricing has been downhill ever since. Our AC shut off the other day. Called, they were to come out late that day. Never showed. Never called. Had to call them the next day. Were to come around noon. Finally showed up late afternoon. We pay for the gold service plan for twice a year maintenance. I have had the maintenance plan with Patrick's for years. I called them to advise my unit was running but not cooling. They came out the next day and advised I needed a compressor replaced which was under warranty and the refrigerant which would be $5,000.00. The technician then came back with the written estimate, it showed $3,295.00. Asked how that could be if the compressor was under warranty? They advised the warranty price for it was $2,374.00! We discovered that our ac fan wouldn't turn off and had a service tech come out and access the situation. The tech confirmed that the blower motor needed to be replaced and we discussed that the part would be covered under warranty. $49 for the tech visit and a quote of around $700 was given for the labor of the replacement. At this point I didn't question anything since I am not the professional. Part was ordered and replacement was scheduled, all great interactions. Nice people in the field and good quality work, but since the company was acquired by Southern HVAC the prices seem to have skyrocketed. They installed our new HVAC system less then 7 years ago. It failed and we called them again. After testing it was determined that the compressor needed to be replaced, luckily it was still covered by warranty. However, just the 3-hour job by a single tech costed nearly $3K, that's a $1K/hr. BTW, the national average for this job is about half of this and this one had the parts under warran... read more

Worst company we have ever dealt with. Approximately two weeks ago we had them out to install 2 new air conditioning units and do all new duct work under our home. The units are Carrier units. Neither unit is working correctly. I have called their office and had to threaten to go call Channel 9 in order to get someone to even call me back. Five different time they have sent a technician out sometimes they claim they figured out the problem, however they did not. I have been a customer for 20 + years. Purchased their annual service agreement (for priority service and parts) only to call for repairs and was given an appointment a week later, and no one showed up. I called them, both locally and in FLA. No response. Requested a refund for no service and there was no response. They never showed up as scheduled. After multiple efforts to contact them for a refund, nothing. The business was sold to a FLA company, attempted to contact them, nothing. I left a ****** review and nothing.

This company was absolutely great about spending a large amount of money to put in a new unit in my house, $25,000. The problem with this company is they don't follow through with any problems that you complain about. Still have hole in side of house where pipes are coming out of attic area, called and complained about that, never fixed. Made appointment for a 6 month check up, nobody showed. Called office and they don't know what happened, do I want to make another appointment? I work night shift and purposely stayed awake ... read more

Heat out on my heat pump. Tech went by and said it needed a new "board" for about $1,000. Also said the coil was corroding which would be about $4,000. I asked about the cost of a new air handler and they said they would have someone else go by and get me a quote. The quote never came so I called Monster. Next day the tech from Monster reported that a fuse was blown, he had replaced it, and the system was working. Check the BBB website. they are crooks.

Technician was able to come early. Worked efficiently, explaining each step. Showed me how to set thermostat to automatically adjust to temperature.
