Pros: Food was delicious and our waiter was very friendly. Because of this alone, we'll definitely return. Cons: Service was slooow which is why I had to knock 1 star off. We were told the wait would be 20 minutes and it ended up being closer to 45. The wait list is not accurate at all. Good food, great view, super company, excellent service.
I had the most delicious humus trio and swordfish. We arrived a few minutes early for our reservation and were promptly seated- even though it was Easter and they were quite busy. Our server was great- knowledgeable about the menu, polite, fun, and very attentive. I'm impressed they make their own pita for the hummus. The swordfish was perfectly seasoned, and the food wasn't salty as it often is at other restaurants. We had a nice view of the lake. This has been at least our 5th time there and have never been disappointed.
Food was ok but service and treatment well below the cost. Made online reservation thru Open Table, noted I wanted outdoor seating. At arrival told I'm 2nd in line despite a reservation. Hostess argues with me that you can't select that option online. I asked why no one called me, clearly listed in additional requests box. Terrific atmosphere, view of lake, and delicious food!
The crabcakes were excellent! The French onion soup was also one of the best I've ever had. Our waitress, Trish, made the entire experience fun and enjoyable! I would go there again just to sit at one of her tables.
Wonderful atmosphere, service, and food! I had a hard time deciding what to order but finally chose the grilled cheese. It was amazing! Even better was the creme brûlée!!
I've been to Clyde's before and been happy. But I was there last Saturday, ordered the catfish sandwich. It was too much bread and not enough fish. Basically a sub roll with a couple ounces of fish. I also asked them to hold the onions, they did not. I won't be going back there for awhile.
Had a excellent time , happy hour is awesome. Bartender Adam is very cool!!
