Be ready to do the customer service for yourself. First off, I don't normally write reviews unless they are overly positive or overly negative. Sadly, this is the latter. Very disappointed with lack of entrance door availability for Florida, to match my clopay garage door.

Clopay does not offer Windcode Rated doors which are required in the state of Florida. Florida requires doors to meet certain design pressures, which requires Entry Doors to have more bracing inside them that is not required in other areas of the country. This is something Clopay is looking into producing in the future. But, at this time it is not part of our product offering.
BUYER BEWARE, customer service is nonexistent. They are a large corporation with no access to anyone that can address customer issues. I ordered a garage door from a local dealer I found on their website. While installing the door we found some damage to a couple of the panels. The local vendor confirmed that they put in an order for the replacement panels that same day and assured us we should have the new panels within a couple of weeks. Clopay strives to deliver damage free product. We understand sometimes this is unavoidable and we do our best to replace product in a timely fashion. In this case replacement sections are on order and will be loading to ship from our plant on 7-22-2020. Clopay has been in contact with the consumer and provided the consumer with a resolution.
I purchased a door in December 2019 from **** *****, for a house I am, building. I went to install the door on March 21st, 2020 and found out the door had all kind of quality issues. The panels were not even and 5 of the screws for the hinges keep on turning. I called Clopay and they told me that I have to fix it myself and to get larger self taping bolts for the ones that are turning. I wasted 1.5 hours fixing the sides but was not able to find self tapping bolts that were just slightly larger. I wasted another 1 hour and g... read more
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE Built our house 9-10 years ago and had 3 Clopay Insulated doors that have an overlay on them (special order doors). The overlay is popping off all 3 doors and this has been happening for several years, unfortunately I just got around to Calling Clopay. When I got the Cust Serv Rep and explained the situation he VERY RUDELY insinuated that the doors shouldn’t really last much longer than the 5 year warranty they come with. Lol. I purchased a Clopay wood door in April that began delaminating in June with a very loud open/close operating noise. No follow up by Clopay after sending details of door issues to customer rep.
In only THREE years, conveniently just after our warranty is up, THE EZSET TORSION SPRING IS SHOT. ***** CHEAP PRODUCT, ITS GOING TO cost us $350.00 on just over a three year old $1000.00 garage door. We purchased a number of Clopay doors, a division of **** *****, well over a year ago and the doors are yet to be installed. We paid over $10,000 for these doors and have nothing but delay and problems surrounding the installation. Over 3 weeks ago we recited an email telling us that the doors were finally in production, we found out today that they are not. tried to purchase one through **** *****. took 4 hours off of work so guy could measure. the tech says he wont attach garage door opener to door. to many bad reviews about the openers motor...i told him my kitchen stove also has bad reviews. maybe thats another reason not to install the garage door. He says seriously the garage door wont warranty. i have a life time warranty on the opener...and it will ruin your door? needless to say i didnt sign anything and am very glad i didnt purchase

We contacted the Installing Dealer associated with this area and particular Store. While they did not have information on this particualr customer, they did let us know that they will refuse to connect an existing motor to a new garage door if the motor does not meet current code. They will also inform the customer that hooking up an exisiting motor that does not meet current building code will void the warranty of the door. This is not a reflection of the Garage Door manufactrued by Clopay.
