I realize the current economic situation is still working itself out, but I was just quoted 15-23 week delivery on a standard 16x7 and 8x7 insulated door combo order, and this is completely unacceptable- in addition to a 67% increase in prices I received from a local dealer (and **** *****pricing was compared as well). I have been in the industrial supply business for over 44 years, and as horrible as our delivery on standard items are, this is far beyond believeable. Ordered a high end custom Clopay door through **** *****. After months, it arrived bent/warped and the installer put it in anyway. I subitted a complaint to **** *****, the installer came out and agreed the door was bent and a panel should be replaced and bracing added to other panels. Clopay initially agreed to replace the one panel, then the entire door. Now Clopay is refusing to replace the door. What a horrible company, and a terrible customer experience. Extended delivery time for product..11 weeks. Product arrived with damaged door panel and inoperative motor. Customer service rep was uninterested and offered no solution in terms of expedited replacement or discount for inconvenience. Do not recommend this company.
I ordered and paid for a garage door on 21 April 21 have been given 6 different delivery dates was told it would be delivered on 17 September 21 and was told on the 17th the panels were complete and a ticket was generated to pack and ship. On 20 Sept I was told it was back ordered with no new delivery date. This company has the dumbest production schedulers, planners and manager on the face of the earth. All I had to do was look at a few of the many, many complaints about Clopay and that convinced me NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! You treat your Customers like **** and you don't get any new Customers. Surprised you're still in business.
Placed my order 5 months ago and am now learning only after escalating the issue that manufacturing of my door has come to a halt. Clopay refused to to provide any details when either I or the distributer called. Sending emails week after week saying there was "no eta", the door is "not scheduled", "when we hear we'll let you know". When I phoned directly, I was treated rudely and dismissed. Ordered garage door with **** *****order ************on 12/29/20 with an install date of 1/30/21. They have pushed the delivery date back three times and never contacted me to tell me once. Now the new delivery date is 7/1/21, and of course didn't feel the need to tell me it was more delayed. Terrible experience
So disappointed with this company tried to resolve my problems with no success. They emailed me a review to fill out. I left a 1 star review letting people know I was so disappointed. I ordered this is November and it is now March we still have no garage door and can not get a refund. They then sent me an email not to fix the problem but to let me know my review did not meet their standards. This is not company that I would recommend using, they misrepresent delivery dates and are not available to speak with anyone during business hours, something should be done to prevent this company from doing business in this manner. I am also disappointed that **** *****uses them as a vendor as they are going to ruin their reputation if they continue to deal with vendors like Clopay
