Sugar Creek is a fun ride! We enjoyed it so much. The 5 mile is a good start, but if you can do the all day one, I would do it. Pack a lunch!
Very sad to have to write this review. We have been going to Clements Canoes for the last couple of years as a family outing for tubing. This year was an extreme disappointment. First off the bathrooms were disgusting and the toilets were over flowing. We went to pick up our life vests and they were out of any sizes except small/ medium which would not fit any adult in our group but the worker said that didn't matter since we didn't have to actually wear them. Everything is dirty and old workers are rude and careless, owner is arrogant and refuses to listen to any complaint. Don’t waste your time or money.
First of all, the bus rides to go tubing are dangerous. The driver did not care if we wrecked with her dangerous driving. It was also supposed to be 50% capacity like it says on their website page, but it was full packed. I went on the 4th of July. People had to even stand in the aisle with every bus seat full. Second, a woman and her husband had crashed their canoe behind our tubes, close to the end of the ride! Awesome experience! Reserved a canoe for a day trip with family visiting from Florida. A nice relaxing trip to paddle, picnic and enjoy the views.
We had our second girls tubing trip this year, and every year the staff is friendly and helpful! I really applaud them this year going through the covid-19 and doing everything they can to remain open. From all of us on our #word trip, thank you

We had our 1st family canoe trip here. We had our 3 1/2 year old grandson with us and even he had a great time. We did the family friendly 5 mile and with him along it was enough. We stopped several times and really enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely come back! My 15 year old son who is not into the outdoors wants to come back and do a longer trip!! Staff was very friendly and everything went smoothly from checking in to dropping all our gear.
