RecommendedThorough and precise! Did wonders on my gelding who decided to slice above his eye open. So understanding and got out to the barn quickly and did everything to make sure he was comfortable and fixed up. Also helped my mom back in October for her gelding who choked and did such a good job with him! Highly recommend!
Just had Dr. Johnson out for the first time for a horse that had unresolved colic. He was extremely thorough and did a wonderful job explaining what he was doing. Lex is feeling much better, and we have peace of mind knowing we have a vet that really cares!
Highly recommend. Very happy with their service. Love having Dr Kirk and his assistant out to our farm. They are quick to return calls and schedule an appointment. We had a horse gelded today and he went above and beyond to do the procedure.

During the exam, he called me multiple times to update me on his findings and to see if I wanted to proceed with more tests. Seemed very trustworthy and made our horse buying experience a lot easier. I recommend going through Classic Equine because they are quick to call back, Dr. Lauren is amazing at what she does. We have a feisty mare and Dr. Lauren is not afraid to handle her, or put her in her place.
Dr. Johnson and his assistant were amazing! I was in awe watching them work on my yearling AQHA filly! They were patient and personable, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and even let me take out the IV catheter. I'm a nurse, so I nerd out on medical procedures and was itching to jump in and assist! I would not want any other veterinary service for my baby Annie, and highly recommend them to anyone in Northern Michigan needing professional, knowledgeable, prompt and caring equine vet services!!
10/10 recommend Dr. Lauren. She always does such a thorough job!
I seriously can not say enough good things about this vet!!! I frantically called vets from all over when my horse came up lame one day. they where the only ones that responded so quickly and got out here as quick as possible. The vet was even on VACATION!!!!!!! but came in anyways to help not only was he very professional and kind he was also very thorough to make sure my horse got the best care possible!!!
