About this business
History Established in 1993. Classic Bean was started in 1993 . Owners are Juliann Earl and Douglas Thomas. Both grew up in Hawaii. We were the first in Topeka to start an espresso cafe serving a variety and sandwiches soups and salads. We began roasting our own coffee in 1994. Since then we have opened several cafes , 2 locations offer full cocktails , beer and wine. We have 1 drive thru on the SW side of Topeka. We have live music on the weekends no cover charge.

The Classic Bean is the BEST local cafe in town! The food is reasonable priced and you receive a generous portion. My favorite sandwich is the vegetarian sandwich the Vivaldi, and their pasta salad is to die for! Did I mention they have the BEST COFFEE in all of Topeka! The owners take pride in roasting their own coffee in house daily. Everyone is very spirited and beyond helpful and nice! I always love coming to this establishment for my morning coffee to a good yummy wrap! The coffee and food is exceptional!
Was in a good mood till I stopped in. My drink was good but this place is a joke bunch of snobby people that dont know customer service. Im not sure if the Barista was trying to be funny but the comments She made didn't sit well with me. Who gives a **** How someone likes their drink just make it and move on. And if I dont like how I order it thats on me not you. Probably wont be back.

Orale homies I totally love classic bean coffee shop not only do they make you feel welcome and the staff is very friendly but the coffee is excellent I'm going to suggest to Reese's polar ice cap it has been hitting the spot since I tried it also like there chocolate covered expresso beans
