My husband and I brought an out of town friend to classic bean downtown on Saturday morning for breakfast and was very embarrassed that it took 40 minutes to get our food; we almost walked out. They weren't busy; only 10 people in the whole place. It was obvious they were extremely short staffed. The cook was hustling but he had to cook and wait tables with no help. The food was good when we finally got it. Normally I come for lunch and the food and service has been great.

RecommendedBreakfast is always an issue for me. Today I ordered a vegetable skillet omelette from the classic bean. I am extremely grateful for the flexibility to order something I request. I had the iced double shot latte while I waited for breakfast. This was my morning food!! Thanks Nikki for being kind when I order strange things!!! 😅 Thank you to the cook, and the person who did my lattelatte. Highly invite you to try downtown!!!!

Donovan is the best barista you have! He should train others how to make polar ice caps because he is consistent.
The Classic Bean is the BEST local cafe in town! The food is reasonable priced and you receive a generous portion. My favorite sandwich is the vegetarian sandwich the Vivaldi, and their pasta salad is to die for! Did I mention they have the BEST COFFEE in all of Topeka! The owners take pride in roasting their own coffee in house daily. All their drink mixes are also original recipes created in house- you can't get a chai or polar ice cap anywhere else that will taste the same! Everyone is very spirited and beyond helpful and nice! I always love coming to this establishment for my morning coffee to a good yummy wrap! The coffee and food is exceptional!
