I saw Dr Martel 18 months ago for a suspected retina tear. I got in right away and my follow up was excellent as they monitored my progress for over 6 months. I will be returning unfortunately as my other eye is experiencing the same symptoms. The wait is some times long but the Dr Martel and his assistant never rushed me through. I recommend them.
I had an eye emergency and Dr. Martel was amazing and super knowledgable. However, I was not impressed with the front office staff. They were not overly friendly or welcoming. I had a small balance of $25 and they called my phone, asked for me, and once they confirmed my name...they hung up. This is not a professional way to confirm a billing phone number.
Would not recommend this office. The staff is extremely rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. The doctors treat patients like cattle; apparently, bedside manner has gone out of style here. I saw one doctor (dressed like he was going sailing or yachting; not professional at all) tell a patient IN THE WAITING ROOM that his diabetes prognosis was terrible and things didn't look good. Wow. My daughter was admitted to the ER for vision loss james Martel was one of the doctors that was there and found the cause instantly later she was released from hospital because they could not find no abnormalities dr Martel wanted to see her right away he was determend to find out why this happens to her I've never seen a doctor who is so confident and determended at what he does we love him
