Clarehouse is an amazing hospice provider. Staff, facilities and grounds, as well as the ability to give these services away at no cost to the clients and their families. If you are looking for a non profit to donate some money or time to Clarehouse is perfect. They are always able to use volunteers and if you donate money then the funds will absolutely go towards a meaningful cause.
Great place unless you want your loved ones last moments with the sounds of joy. That isn’t allowed. Our kids loved looking at the fish and were saying wow fishy (my son is 2), staff repeatedly told us to keep quiet because there are people dying. Every time we left the room staff told my kids to keep quiet (even if they didn’t say anything) there are people in their last hours. So if your family doesn’t have little ones great. Beautiful place, very peaceful. Spacious rooms, very clean with decent people caring for your loved ones in their final days. Edit: don't expect prompt action from all the RNs when they're told your loved one has soiled themselves and its within 1 hour of a supposed shift change. This place was a godsend for my mom. She was there for a little over a week. Her room was beautiful, clean and spacious. There are constantly birds outside near birdfeeders they have at every balcony for each room. Lots of trees. It makes for the most peaceful scenery you could ask for for your family member. My mom was treated with so much love as our family was as well. They even have a bed/ couch in the room for you to stay the night.
