food was excellent - large portions. the service was also great as well. The only thing I found was a bit odd is that they make you wait 30 to 40 minutes to get a table - when you actually get inside the dining area there are dozens of tables open and available. Why are you asked to wait so long when the restaurant is only about half full? This is the second time I've seen this....
My boyfriend & I ate here on Sunday and it was amazing! The wait was about 30 minutes but that's understandable for a weekend. We had a server named Jacob. We had gone to a previous restaurant and had such bad service that we got up and left. So when we arrived to Claim Jumpers we were pleasantly surprised with the customer service. Awesome food, it was packed when my man and I were there but they still had time for everyone.
If I could give the Claim Jumper 0 stars I definitely would but 1 star will have to suffice. Today I ordered an apple cobbler to go and I picked it up without a second thought because their interior looks like a professional, inviting, and well organized environment. When I got back to my car with my fiancé and opened their to go box I saw that not only had they forgotten to UNTHAW the cobbler, they had cut off the edge and all it's crust. My Mum came over from Sequim. We had been planning to have dinner at Claim Jumper since Feb. 25th to celebrate a HUGE victory in our family. We arrived about 4pm on Sat. March 29, 2014. Checked in for 5 people, was about a 15-20 minute wait and was told we could dine on the left side of the bar with minors if there was seating available.
