great hospital... This is a wonderful hospital, I have taken my animals there and they have always been cared for wonderfully. I trust the doctors and technicians, and have always been treated with respect. There is NEVER a wait, when you have a scheduled appointment, and the cost is reasonable. Everyone is always happy to see you, and love the animals they care for. City Pets Veterinary Care is .. Horrible and overpriced. Switched to Light Street Animal Hospital and found that some of the things they were giving my pet was not needed. Like the Kennel Cough shot. That is not required unless your pet stays in kennels a lot. My pet never had.
Great place and super care!! ok, i want the best for my "kid". that's it. everyone seems to think that this place is somehow too expensive. sure, there are plenty of cheaper vets in the city. but look at it this way: would i take my child to the cheapest doc? no. i would try to find the best pediatrician there is. it is as simple as that. so, this vet is what i want for my "kid". she is very good, the facility is modern and clean and the price is irrelevant. I want my four legged beast to be healthy. end of story.
Wonderful! Great Experience! CityPets is one of a kind! Dr. Shook and her staff are compassionate, outgoing, and respectful. Dr. Shook's diagnosing and treatment is right on and each animal is treated as if it were her own. When you walk into CityPets you feel at ease; you know your pet is in good hands. The receptionist is caring and willing to answer any questions or concerns you may have, and there is always hot coffee and treats!! I highly recommend CityPets!
You could be overcharged for medicine!! I was... Yes, Dr. Shook is very nice, however, I felt very rushed from the moment she set eyes on the recently rescued stray cat I had acquired last month who was pregnant. She just had 8 kittens 2 weeks ago! I came in as the cat had ear mites that were treated by Falls Road Animal Hospital the day after I got the cat (could not get an appt anywhere for a few days and wanted to get her rabies, earmites, etc. immediately). Above and Beyond We recently adopted a cat or should I say the cat adopted us. Samantha ( or Toonsis) as my husband calls her, showed up in our back patio. She was homeless but always showed up when I was in the back yard gardening. Samantha would try and get in my lap purring the whole time. We decided to adopt her but not before having her checked out. We were so lucky to find a wonderful vet in our neighborhood. Great Animal Hospital & Wonderful Doctor and Staff!! I have been taking my animals to City Pets for years.City Pets is a great animal hospital! The moment you walk in the staff greet you everyone there is so nice. You never have to wait long. Dr.Shook is very nice and great with your animals She is always so pleasant. There new location on Charles St is beautiful and very clean! There prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend City Pets to anyone!!
Top Notch Service and A Great Atmosphere I took my dog into CP for blood in his stool. First of all, when I called to make the appointment, the professional nature of the staff came right through the phone. I wanted to take my treasured dog to CP. CITY PETS AND DR. SHOOK When Lucky's other vet gave up on him and would no longer treat him for his allergies, Dr. Shook came to the rescue. When Lucky first went to Dr. Shook, his face was actually bleeding from his allergies. She treated him for his allergies and he has hair again and can actually live without his e-collar. Thanks Dr. Shook.you are wonderful and Lucky is truly lucky to have you for his Dr.
