The place is not bad however the environment is toxic. I go the the LA fitness in *************** and heard one of the managers whose name is ******************************* talk to multiple employees is a very disrespectful way that made me very angry. This manager should get fired!

They are a complete and utter scam. I am still being billed 13 months into a 12 MONTH personal training plan that I never even use because the training service was awful. Stay far away from LA Fitness.

Person allowed to follow and record me at gym then posted video mocking and shaming me at *******,** location. Have stay away with persins brither. Cops called managemnt appeared to be persons friend then district asked to call and never did. Sent all my proof and stay away and videos at their locatuin and they still did nothing but warn person. I have not returned sence and want my full refund of enrollment and their distruct did nothing despute time took sending her my email and attachments. I dint feel safe to go to a gym... read more

Worst possible service. Beware of their personal training sessions scam. They will scam you into buying sessions and follow shady practices for cancellations. I had lost more than 1000$ dollars to them. I tried called the corporate office, their customer service representative was also rude when asked for cancellation.

A few years ago, I started working on getting into shape, and utilized the trainers out at the LA Fitness in Norwalk. It was a great experience, and I owe a lot to the really great team they had out there at the time. So, when the gyms started opening back up and it was time to work on the lockdown weight I'd gained, signing back up at a different nearby location seemed like a good idea. Refusal to cancel membership.Every time I go the operations manager is away or on lunch.I was told I was fine to go home and it would be cancelled. They continue to charge: disgusting pathetic business

The pool area in this place is a disease waiting to happen. The hot tub has mildew all over and a scum line all around the sides. The pool is cloudy and not balanced properly with the chemicals. The pool also has a scum line. People go in with oils on them and wear street clothes, not a bathing suit. They have no guards anymore. The guards used to take care of the pool, but lately they just sat in a chair on their phones. No one is checking chemicals., This place could be a great club if it was cleaned up and taken care of.

I had to go to 2 separate locations just to cancel, the guy I talked with was rude and made is so difficult to cancel, only to find out he never closed my account and ive been getting charged for the past couple of months. There isnt even an la fitness in my new state. Awful customer service, they havent been helpful at all.

I was forced to put my membership on hold because I can not physically wear a mask due to only having 1 functioning lung. I was discriminated against for being disabled and told I would not be allowed to use my membership there. Yet my daughter went ahead and went inside and not only saw ***** other people in the gym without a mask on, she witnessed the young lady who had embarrased me and discriminated against me walking around talking to these people.
