Citi is an absolute nightmare!!! I have Citi Apts/Skyline as my building manager/owner and they are the worst landlord I've ever had. Beware of their "free" rental crap. They have exorbitant rents and and are jacking the prices in SF since they are trying to gain a monopoly. These people are basically gangsters. The San Francisco City Attorney's office has a lawsuit pending against them and there is even talk of using RICO to stop their illegal tactics. Citi Apts I used Citi Apts. to help me find a place when I first moved to the city. It's a convenient, free service that will find apts. for you according to your specifications. It's great if you know what you want and don't want to do the leg work - basically, a free broker service. The downside? The apartments they show you are under their mgt, and they charge a bit more than what you may be able to find on your own.
