Not so great Like the review before me I have had issues with Citi Apartments. When I first moved to the citi, they set me up in this Studio downtown and charged an absurd price for it, only after I complained about someone running ramped through the building banging on doors in the middle of the night did they move me to a new apartment. They charge an absurd about for pet deposits, if you have two pets, you have to pay a deposit for each, one is not enough. Citi Apts I used Citi Apts. to help me find a place when I first moved to the city. It's a convenient, free service that will find apts. for you according to your specifications. It's great if you know what you want and don't want to do the leg work - basically, a free broker service. The downside? The apartments they show you are under their mgt, and they charge a bit more than what you may be able to find on your own.
Citi gets MINUS FIVE stars I posted the review below and accidently ended up giving Citi 4 stars. I meant to give them none at all. Read my review below and you'll know why I write that these people are gangsters. Citi Apts/Skyline actually has a goon squad who carry weapons and forcefully intimidate tenants. Buildings are under never ending construction (often without a building permit) to try drive out rent control tenants. Zero stars is to much for them.... Citi Apartments/Trophy Apartments purchased our building and we have had problems ever since. They moved in apartment managers who harasses most tenants, they have verbally threaten people and cussed at fellow tenants. They also don't take repairs seriously. A few of my appliances broke and they replaced them with noticeably used ones that look worse then the ones I had previously. To get anything done you have to wait at least a month and then argue with them to do the work. When they fina... read more
Citi is an absolute nightmare!!! I have Citi Apts/Skyline as my building manager/owner and they are the worst landlord I've ever had. Beware of their "free" rental crap. They have exorbitant rents and and are jacking the prices in SF since they are trying to gain a monopoly. These people are basically gangsters. The San Francisco City Attorney's office has a lawsuit pending against them and there is even talk of using RICO to stop their illegal tactics. Highly Unprofessional – Even though it is rampant in the Bay Area, this disease of not responding to calls and e-mails is inexcusable for a company posing itself as "professional"
