RecommendedExcellent food. A contemporary and classy restaurant; southern cuisine with a twist. My personal favorite were the collard green stuffed egg rolls. Perfect place for date night.
Have probably eaten here 100 times. Apperently the seating rules have changed. The website says no resevations on the weekend. We show up want to sit a group that requires the two tables to be put together and get told it cant happen. 10 mins later they push the tables together for another group. When our same group has eaten as a group at two tables there three other times with no reservation. Food is still good and consistent but the service has changed. Not for the better.
food was great!! such a cute little place for a day trip from Conway SC......my niece was staying in Raleigh,visiting from Seattle, & we met at the half way point...so happy we found Circa 1800 to have our brunch/meeting!! I'll be back!! <3

Good food
The food was certainly tasty but the catfish gumbolaya had chicken wing and rib bones in them. When I showed them to the waiter he told me the chef does that for flavor. Oh come on now. Everyone knows you remove the bones once the stock is made. I asked for a discount for the apparent choking hazards and that was ignored. We decided to order the fruity pebble cheesecake. We drove a long way for business and found this amazing place. Everyone was friendly and the food was amazing. I hope we can visit again.
