We've been seeing specialty doctors at Children's for 5 years now. We have never had a bad experience. We love our doctors and nurses and are very blessed to live here.
We were in the ER. Our wait wasn't bad at all they got us back quickly. Triage nurses were great! Our first nurse wasn't very good she was rude barely acknowledged my child. Thankfully shift change happened then we got an awesome nurse. Wasn't a fan of doc either he was rude and wasn't straight forward with results. I like cincinnati childrens but this trip wasn't great.

My granddaughter had surgery . The doctor and nurses was great. They kept us informed about the procedure. Her stay there was great I stayed with her until she was discharged. They made feel comfortable. Thank you children's for taken great care of my granddaughter.
Both of my children have been patients at Cincinnati Children's. The one doctor they both have in common is Alessandro De Alarcon, ENT. I can't say enough good things. They had to see him six years apart, for different problems, but both times he was a total pro. Good with the kids, explained everything so that we could understand, did what he said he'd do, and we never had another problem with the things he fixed. We only had one over night, but it was as good as any hospital stay can be!
My daughter has been going here since she was 2 months old, she is now 4. I have not one time had a bad experience. I love this hospital and recommend it every chance I get. We live about 4 hours away and it is well worth the drive.

Had a recent visit to the ER. It was a total joke waited like 4 hours to be seen and there was only like 5 other people there. The smell in the waiting room was also terrible I had to keep stepping outside for fresh air.
I learned a couple things from the reception staff in the emergency department tonight. The young and HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL ladies I encountered at the check in desk around 6:30 told me that although we had waited 45 minuets just for triage, my child was not a priority because SHE DIDNT HAVE CANCER. Who says that to a parent?! What sick individual says that to a parent of a sick child?! No other parents with a sick child should be subjected to dealing with either one of these "professionals".
