Could Be Worse These apartments are relatively inexpensive for the area they are in, and are gated (when they work). Basically mediocre apts, but I don't have many complaints, other than you have to pay for any parking, not just covered, and it doesn't even guarantee you a certain spot. Also, for those with dog breeds that are typically "unacceptable", these may be good for you as they don't seem to enforce restrictions, given the number of pits and rotties running around the dog park.
No Problems My fiance and I lived here once two years ago and we just moved back in November 2013. Our manager Lisi was so helpful in working with us upon move-in, we were able to move in the same day. Maintenance has always been prompt to fix any issues we've had since our move-in, and the new management is extremely nice, helpful, and patient. Who needs hot water?? It's been over a year and a half and we have not that consistent hot water in our apartment. We have heard every excuse in the book. It's still not fixed. DO NOT LIVE HERE! The answer is "I can't tell you when it will be fixed" and you will hear it over and over and over. Never again will I rent from this place or any complex they manage.
I love it here. I have been here for 3 years. The maintenance people always fix any problem that appears. All 4 swimming pools are delightful. The one heated by the office allows me to exercise every day to keep my arthritis at bay. They have new owners that are remodeling the whole complex.Check it out. I think you will find Gateway a delightful place to live.
AWFUL The management is absolutely awful. After moving into an apartment which was infested with bed bugs I was forced to pay for all of the extermination costs in full. The management also allowed maintenence men to enter my apartment long after they were premitted to without my permission. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
