An impossible company to deal with if you have a claim. They nicklel and dime you to death and take forever to respond to enquiries while your car is stuck in the shop waiting for the propper go ahead to be repaired.

Multiple times I have called only to be told I don't have coverage when it was time to request road side assistance. Fortunately the times I called I was at home needing a jump. This last time was the last straw. It was Sunday and the office was closed. You see, the two previous times were a breeze in comparison. My agent was able to verify I DO have coverage over the phone. Horrible customer service and wrongfully dropped me due to an accident that was not in my car. If I could give them a zero rating, I would have. Go with ***** or ***********. They are way better in the customer service area.

Claim department did not investigate my complaint and because of that I lost my ‘good driver’s discount and I am paying accident surcharge added to my premium. They should have investigated my case properly and contacted me before paying out other party.

On 12/25/22 a burst pipe destroyed ~$27,000 worth of personal property (this does not include the cost to repair the room. I am still waiting on $2450 to cover those expenses. This is strictly personal property). It has been two months and so far State Farm has offered ~$11,000. I declined the offer and they cut me a check anyways even when I specifically asked them not to. Rip off State Farm changed something on my policy and will not admit it. They over changed me and said they gave me a discount they are insane and frauded me out of money. Just admit you made a mistake and refund me the money. -1 star

I am livid. I've been with State Farm for quite a few years as I thought being the size company they were would not have astronomical automobile insurance...SURPRISE!!! Just received notice in the mail about a 349$ increase for 6 months. I call and the can't or won't return my call until the day before my automobile insurance is due and they proceed to tell me it's due to accidents. I got in car accident and it was the other car was at fault and got a ticket for failure to yield. But State Farm is his insurance as well mine too . State Farm say it 50/50 fault so I have to use my insurance policy to fix my car . I been going and forth with them . I call my agent and he is useless. I been with State Farm insurance since 1998. I am so disappointed. The customer service horrible and rude. This insurance company should be out business.

Take your business elsewhere! I have had the worst experience ever dealing with Statefarm location in Stratford, CT. I have paid and yet continue to pay my bill I’m full every month, yet I received a cancellation notice, which does not reflect my proper city. Try *****, ***********, anything but this.
