My experiences with Dr. Peeler have always been pleasant and I have felt confident in his abilities. My last vist, x-rays were not taken and I experienced severe pain with a new crown. The pain began late friday evening, so Saturday morning I had to visit an immediate dental care facility. X-rays were taken and decay was discovered in my tooth under the crown and the crown was not appropriately placed nor fit properly over my original tooth.The dentist on call refused to treat the issue due to the fact he felt I should retur... read more
This was the first time I had used Dr. Peeler. I explained to Dr. Peeler that I had been having pain in one of my tooth for three years. The tooth had previously had work and had been caped. Dr. Peeler suggested I have a root canal done on the tooth. During the time of the procedure he had to give me a total of four shots to help with the pain. At one point he had drill very far down into my tooth, I jumped and he indicated that he saw a lot of infection while drilling. After the procedure to completed, I was sent home witho... read more
Very good dentist!!! The greatest thing to me is that fact that I have a fear of needles which is horrible usually. However dr. Peeler helped me over come this with another anestetic. Which helped more than you could believe. Not to mention he is one of the few dentists I have gone to. To actually tell me I could take my x-rays with me if I wanted to persue a different option.
I got the overall impression that everyone was in a big hurry at Dr. Peeler's office. Dr. Peeler moves fast and talks faster. A few times he was talking to me and I would answer and turn to find that he was gone, and I was talking to myself. All of the people in his staff that I came in contact with were very nice, but again, seemed rushed. The cleaning I received was adequate, but I felt they would have done a more thorough job if they had spent a little more time on me. Dr. Peeler talks very fast and very low. Its kind of weird, because it makes it very hard to communicate with him. He seems nice, but hardly has a fuzzy bedside manner. He is very, very busy and jumps from patient to patient. Conversely, he has an excellent, very warm and fuzzy staff, that truly is great. Its probably why we keep going back.
