Dr. Maisel has been my oncologist since I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma over ten years ago. Throughout that time, he has consistently demonstrated intelligence, compassion, and meticulous care. I’ve come to rely on his guidance not only for my own health but also for medical concerns affecting my family. He’s been much more than a doctor to me—he’s become a trusted friend. Chris has my highest recommendation.
He is good about explaining and sharing details about my condition. Always pleasant and usually timely!
Dr. Maisel took the time to listen to my concerns which were somewhat complicated and addressed them in a manner specific to my family medical history. He explained our family's options very thoroughly. He also responded in a very timely manner to a request I made during my visit.
Dr Maisel and his assistant Pascal Whitnah are incredible. Very personal attention and they genuinely care. Dr Maisel answers questions. Is attentive, caring and genuine.Pascal provides a comfort level that can best be described as feeling like a “friend”!
Knocking giving name before entering exam room. He acknowledged my name and explained reason for labs taken prior to visit. Hence compared current labs with a summary of last year and previous ones. He asked if I had any questions. He summarized again and noted treatment plan ongoing. See nest year or if PCP during the year need to be seen. Stated he would send results of lab to PCP; gave me a copy of visit. He reminded me to go by the scheduling desk to make appointment for next year.
He is a good communicator and speaks in a way that is easily understood. He is also basically a very nice guy.
Dr. Maisel has been my blood cancer doc for 15 years. That alone should say something! From my first meeting with him when diagnosed, through all my treatments, scans, and follow ups he has been nothing but informative, kind, and thorough. I am very thankful for all he has done for me, and my family, through my cancer journey.
Dr Maisel always takes time to listen to my concerns. He is a kind, compassionate man with a good sense of humor.
Dr. Maisel shows great concern for his patients and is very courteous to all your needs.
