Dr. Hubbard and his staff are fantastic. I suffered a Lisfranc fracture in my foot that required surgery and an extended recovery process and have nothing but good things to say about his practice throughout the whole experience. I was actually referred to Dr. Hubbard by another orthopedic surgeon who said that, for my injury, this is the guy to go see. The doctor returned my foot to working order and in the process, demonstrated that he cared and would go to great lengths to make sure I understood my injury and answer any q... read more
i saw him for a wickedly painful condition that has come up on me, a Mortons Neuroma. I can hardly walk without cursing my foot and hoping for some divine intervention, in fact i can't say i haven't thought about amputating-i'm an otherwise healthy and very active 45 year old. the office was VERY accommodating for an appointment, hubbard gave me time and also had a student with him, he read the MRI i brought and told me that he thinks surgery is required and he'd be glad to do it and went through success rate, complication p... read more
Great surgeon! Saw many doctors in NYC for bad bunion and dislocated toes. Dr Hubbard spent most time with me and explained problem and treatment in detail. Felt very confident with him, and now 6 months after surgery foot is great, and so glad I went with him. Highly recommend!!
I had a very unpleasant experience with Dr Hubbard. I went to his surgery to get a second opinion on whether I can travel - and at the advice of his receptionist made an appointment. Dr Hubbard's assistant stripped open the entire cast without asking me why I was there, and during the actual appointment Dr Hubbard did not look at my injury at all. His assistant proceeded to put a bandage over the cast rather than remaking it and was very sloppy indeed. Dr Hubbard has a very uncaring bedside manner and it concerns me that he ... read more
I think Dr Hubbard is a fantastic surgeon. My experience with him has been great. He's great at what he does, and he's a super sweet Dr.
Dr Hubbard is great. Pleasant bedside manner, compassionate, he listens, doesn't rush you and takes time to plainly & simply answer your questions & respond to your concerns. He consults others when its clear that other expertise is required. He discusses x-rays / scan results with you openly. He helped me get the appropriate care following botched foot surgery by a terrible chiropodist. The consulting office is clean and the waiting area has chairs suited to those with foot problems, which shows consideration for his patien... read more
Excellent doctor. Explains his diagnosis in a calm, unhurried manner, answered all my questions fully. Felt very comfortable with him. Will go back for the procedure he recommended.
Consulted twice with broken toes & ankle. Very patient, and really helpful. In one occasion, he allowed me to make an appointment while he was on a vacation. He came in to take care of some patients in emergency! I'd highly recommend the doctor.
He performed a tricky ligament repair surgery skillfully. Highly capable and knowledgeable, cold bedside manner but in this case, I needed a good surgeon more than a hand-holder. Office is run like a tight ship and appointments are kept on time.
