Dr. Hubbard is the finest orthopedic surgeon that I have met over the past year. I broke my ankle 1.5 years ago, and initially went to three different orthopedic surgeons to get opinions. The first MD that I ultimately chose did the minimal amount of x-rays and did not communicate well. My bone healed despite incredible pain. His only solution was monthly cortisone shots. My Physical therapist in Hoboken, SANDRA PIETREWICZ, PT, convinced me to get a 4th opinion from the finest Orthopedic Surgeon she knew in NYC. I brought an... read more
Dr Hubbard saved my foot and my life . 4 drs in south florida said drags your foot for the rest of your life I flew up to dr Hubbard and relocated to New York just to be under his care . I had a cast then rehab for a year and now I can walk . He is 5 star plus ! The best of the best . Sallie
Dr Hubbard is great. He fixed my torn tendons and ligaments and cartilage damage. I am back playing basketball. Thank you Dr Hubbard
Dr. Hubbard has a big ego and very little concern about the patient's condition. All he cares is to do the surgery and get money. He says what he thinks he needs to tell the patient and becomes extremely frustrated and irritated when you ask questions, answering that your case is complicated. After months in a cast I was still in pain, and he offered no explanation. Don't be fooled by his reputation.
I had an operation performed. The appointments were handled by his assistant. I was in constant pain but Dr. Hubbard had no interest and brushed off complaints about pain. He never cared. He refused to acknowledge something is wrong.
I was recommended to Dr Hubbard by a relative who is very satisfied with the surgery he performed a while ago. I cannot judge his surgeon's qualification which may be excellent but perhaps because of shyness or lack of social skills the relationship doctor/patient left me frustrated and unsatisfied. The staff was from fair to pleasant but the patient's handling was sloppy (desk/information) and kind of robotic. I had several doctor's appointments recently and by comparisons with other hospitals, I fund the Mount Sinai Beth I... read more
I was referred to Dr. Hubbard for an injury that required a special expertise if I wanted a successful outcome. Going into New York wasn't the most convenient, but I would do it again to have Dr. Hubbard as my surgeon. He is a sterling professional, honest, direct, and understands his patients needs. He fully prepared me for the long haul that was ahead of me and was right on target for the recovery period, and, with his skill and knowledge achieved a 100% recovery...something that many people doubted would ever happen. I, a... read more
Dr. Hubbard and his staff were excellent and very caring. I had to travel several hours to find someone who had expertise in my particular problem but it was worth the many visits I had to make. My surgery went smoothly and my stitches are barely visible. Great office!
I had a great experience with Dr. Hubbard and his staff. I had foot surgery about 8 months ago for a condition called hallux rigidus. From start to finish the process went smoothly. I would highly recommend him.
